Our goal in creating the new version of Temp File Cleaner was to create a cleaner that is more advanced than anything else on the market. To accomplish our goal, we had many brain storming meetings where we discussed what we wanted to see in our new version. The first thing that you will notice with the new version is the refined user interface. You can have the most incredible piece of software, but if you have an unintuitive, cluttered and boring user interface, it simply cannot be used to its full potential. Our team put much thought into creating a very simple, elegant front end that is easy to use, beautiful to look at, and laid out in a logical, seamless way.

The changes that we made are more than skin deep, the core software has been completely rewritten. We have big plans for TFC and what we had was not dynamic enough to support the level of customization and dynamic nature that we are so excited to develop. The features that we will be releasing are not available in any other cleaner and we are confident that we are going to make a splash.

After much consideration, we decided to develop v4.0 entirely in Microsoft's .NET framework, rather than Java as we had previously been using. For our purposes, .NET offered more tools that we needed to reach our goals. While we love Java's open source culture, we came to the conclusion that .NET's Windows Presentation Foundation was the best user interface framework to allow us to unleash our creative ideas and publish them into reality.

As stated on our homepage, we are a small company dedicated to creating the best software. We are passionate about our products and can't wait to release features iteratively and frequently. While some cleaners consider new 'cleaners' features, we do not. As such, TFC was designed as a plugin-style application, allowing you to download more 'cleaners' without having to go through the whole installation process.
