&Ver. 1.03& & - A measure was taken to prevent the device from halting during operation. & &Affected Products:& & - Ver. 1.01 or lower & &How to Check your RTR-500NW/AW Firmware Version:& & See below for how to check your firmware version depending on your interface method. & &T&D WebStorage Service :& & After logging in, click the settings icon next to the TR-7nw device name to open the settings window. &Read off the "Firmware" version next to the "Serial Number" located at the top of the window.& & &PC :& & Open T&D software "TR-7wf/nw for Windows" and connect your TR-7nw device via USB to the computer. &Read off the "Firmware Version" value located at the lower left on the screen.& & &Firmware Update Procedure - When Using T&D WebStorage Service & & - All recorded data will be deleted by updating the firmware. Please make sure to download all necessary data before update. &- In the case of when XXX does not represent the latest firmware version, it means the update has failed. In the case of an update failure, please use the update tool as shown in the procedure below.& &When using T&D WebStorage Service, you do not need to download the update tool. By following the TR-7nw reset procedure shown below, the new firmware will be installed automatically.& & &Reset Procedure for Automatic Firmware Update& & - When the recording is in progress (REC mark displayed on LCD), stop the recording by pressing and holding the REC/STOP button for at least 3 seconds. &- Turn off the TR-7nw by pressing and holding the PWR button.& &- Pressing the DISPLAY, INTERVAL, and REC/STOP buttons at the same time, hold down the PWR button until all LCD display segments appear, then release all buttons.& &- After resetting the TR-7nw, the installation of the new firmware will be completed in about 5 seconds. When the firmware is updated successfully, [LXXX] will appear on the LCD screen. (The XXX represents the version number of the firmware.)& & &Firmware Update Procedure - When NOT using T&D WebStorage Service& & If the USB device driver has not been installed on your computer, you will be prompted to install the driver during the TR-7nw firmware update. (Make sure to complete the driver installation before running the update tool.) &The XXX represents the version number of the firmware. Please read using the number of the appropriate version.& &- Connect the TR-7nw via USB to the computer.& &- Open the downloaded "TR-7nw Firmware Update Tool".& &- Follow the instructions on the screen to update the firmware.& &- If the firmware is updated successfully, [LXXX] will appear on the TR-7nw LCD screen when the power is turned on. The firmware update should take only a few minutes to complete.& & &About General Utility:& & Usually, device functionality is ensured by its drivers, firmware, and/or BIOS packages, and the product can be used for its purpose once these files are installed.
