Automated data acquisition with TWedge - Keyboard Wedge, Software Wedge, Barcode Wedge TWedge extends arbitrary software systems or databases with real-time data acquisition services. Modifications of the target system are not required! Within seconds device data from USB, Bluetooth, RS232, RS485, UDP or TCP/IP interfaces is captured with arbitrary applications, databases or ERP systems (e.g. barcode-scanner, scales, gauges, controller, PLC, RFID controllers, RFID tags, ...). This software wedge reads data from external devices automatically. The captured data is reliable transferred to target applications (e.g. to SAP R/3) via direct database (ODBC) or file access, or by simulating keystrokes (keyboard wedge mode).
