Being a train model fanatic myself, I was impressed to say the least, when I first got my chance to work with Rocrail. Not only does its design account for all the intricacies involved in train model rail network, but it does so elegantly and in an efficient manner.

Starting from the clear overview offered by the loaded rail network schematics, and all the way down to the management of the individual locomotives, and determining the preferred controller parameter values, the entire process is detailed enough to satisfy even the most avid train model aficionados.

Each of the added locomotives features an impressive data sheet, which features parameters and corresponding values that can be adjusted extensively, in order to ensure a detailed take on the whole experience.

More so, the rail network itself can also be tweaked, and a multitude of elements and parameters can be addressed, such as tracing, monitoring, calculation, and more.

This open-source software that addresses model train control and rail network management offers a very comprehensive set of tools for adjusting all the details of the individual locomotives and wagons, as well as those of the rail network itself, to some of the most stringent requirements.
