This package contains the firmware for Western Digital MZ500S 250GB, 320GB and 500GB and is supported on Alienware, Inspiron, Latitude, OptiPlex, Precision, Vostro and XPS models that run Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 operating systems. This package fixes the booting issue.

If your computer is currently running an older version of this driver, updating may fix problems, add new functions, or expand existing ones. Even though other OSes might be compatible, we do not recommend applying this release on platforms other than the ones specified.
