&Update Instructions:& &- Unzip the downloaded Thunderbolt-3-Firmware-Update-Tool-Versionxx.zip file. &- Connect a Thunderbolt device to the Intel NUC. The firmware update tool will not run without a Thunderbolt device connected.& &- If the New Thunderbolt devices have been attached window opens when you connect the device, click OK, make a selection, then click OK again.& &- Double-click FWUpdateTool.exe to start the program.& &- Click Next on the Welcome screen.& &- Select the Thunderbolt controller, then click Next.& &- Browse to the folder where you unzipped the tool and select the firmware .bin file. Then click Next.& &- To start the update process, click the Start Thunderbolt firmware update button.& &- A progress bar will display during the update.& &- Close the application after the firmware has been successfully updated.& & &About Firmware Update Utility:& &Applying a different firmware version than the one already installed on your camera can improve the device’s overall performance and stability, resolve various issues, add support for newly developed features, or recover the device’s functionality from a state you don’t enjoy. &This process isn’t intended to be destructive, but still, it’s best that you save all your personal data and configurations before applying a different firmware. Moreover, make sure that the battery is fully charged and don’t use the camera’s buttons while the installation is in progress.& &When it comes to the update method, the utility basically searches online or in any given location for a compatible firmware file, alerts you if a suitable version has been found, and asks for your approval before initiating the upgrade.& &So all that’s left for you to do is to click on the download button, get and install the update tool, and run it in order to search for a different firmware version.
