Explzh is a free software for Microsoft's Windows operating system to manage -- create, extract, change -- archives using an Explorer-like interface. Explzh falls right in line with other free offerings: it is available as a 32-bit and 64-bit version for Windows, and supports all features that you expect to see in an archive software. Explzh sports the possibility to password protect the data, provided that an archive format supporting the feature is selected. Moreover, among the tools there is the option to attach a digital signature to a chosen file. Explzh is one alternative that can handle some of the most common archive types, which includes RAR, ZIP and ISO.

The installation procedure is not complicated but it requires some attention because it prompts for setting the archive type associations and runs you through a brief configuration wizard. The Explzh interface looks pretty much like that of any other archiving software for Windows. It features a toolbar at the top, a sidebar on the left that displays folders, and the actual archive contents on the right.
