Gobble is an online video podcast player designed to focus on video RSS feeds available over the internet. Since finding good video feeds are part of the challenge, Gobble is pre-loaded with a set of popular podcast video feeds that have been tested to work with the application. In addition to the pre-loaded feeds, we built and integrated an online podcast catalog that can provide additional feeds to Gobble without having to release a new version of the application.

The program is designed to take advantage of both touch and keyboard input. While we have tried to accommodate desktop users, the focus is for this application are users with touch screens or tablets. There are many great desktop applications for podcasts viewing and recommend those for primarily desktop users.

In addition, PlayTo capabilities are enabled to provide viewing on other network connected devices such as the XBox 360.

We originally built this app for ourselves to watch our favorite video podcasts such as Tekzilla and other Revision3 feeds. Thanks to all of our users and Revision3 for all of their support!
