It does not need to be installed onto the host computer and does not use a lot of PC resources, therefore it does not affect the overall computer performance.

The interface of Hiew is inspired by the old look of DOS tools, and to keep this old-school feeling it can only be operated using the keyboard. In other words, users who prefer to rely on the mouse in all of their actions might encounter difficulties in working with this software solution.

However, by experimenting with the tool and pressing keys one can get familiarized with the app’s numerous functions, even though they are not very obvious at first glance.
