A sales invoice, bill of sales or sales receipt is a document that is provided when collecting due payments for products sold. The template has a big title "SALES INVOICE" in light green color on the top-right corner of the form indicating this is a sales invoice. If you like to use it as a receipt template, simply type in the word "RECEIPT" to replace the words "SALES INVOICE". Most of the sales invoice templates created by us at uniformsoftware.com has a "Shipping To" section near the "Bill To" section on the top of the invoice form. This invoice template is not an exception. The unique feature implemented in this invoice template is that it includes a Discount column on the invoice body, and the line total of each item is calculated as: Line Total = Unit Price * Quantity * (1- Discount Percentage). The sales invoice form works with Excel 2003, 2007, 2010 and 2013. Since it is provided in ".xls" format, when you run it in Excel 2007, 2010 and 2013, it is in "compatible mode". You can convert it to the new Excel spreadsheet format ".xlsx" easily by executing the "Save As" command in Excel. On the top left corner there is a default uniformsoftware logo image. This is a place holder for your own logo image. To replace it with your own image, first switch to design mode and then right-click the uniformsoftware logo image and then choose Properties.
