ScreenBlur will offer you the possibility to safely secure your desktop with a selected password. ScreenBlur provides some preset desktop images to choose from, but it also offers the possibility of adding your own images to the list, provided that the file format is PNG, JPEG or BMP.

ScreenBlur will ask you to set a password. Right click the program's icon in system tray to change the password, lock your screen, and options :
· Auto Lock : Locks the screen when user does not use the mouse and keyboard for a while.
· Auto Start : The program starts with windows, and is ready to lock the screen.

You can also lock the screen with a left click on its tray icon, or after you set or change
the password.

With a single click on the program’s icon in the system tray you can lock the screen, activate or deactivate the desktop blackout feature, open the settings menu, or temporarily enable or disable the locking option when the computer is idle.

If you can translate ScreenBlur, the tools required for the process are provided with SB.
ScreenBlur is not collecting personal data, and it does not require an internet connection to properly function. You can safely use a firewall to block it just to be sure.
