UUID-GUID Generator Portable was designed in order to let the users quickly generate unique identifiers.

The identifiers can be created with or without braces and they cab be copied to the clipboard for use in other software projects. It will remember your braces preference. The full Delphi source code is included.

You can even use the keyboard: ALT-G to generate a new UUID/GUID. ALT-B to turn braces on and off. And ALT-C to copy to clipboard.
