Manifester is designed to be quick and easy to use. I can create an imsmanifest file and ZIP an entire course in less than one minute. Manifester is a simple tool for quickly creating SCORM 1.2 conformant imsmanifest.xml files and zipped SCO packages.

Many WYSIWYG authoring environments such as Adobe Captivate are incredibly convenient in that they automatically generate a imsmanifest.xml file when a course is published. Some authoring tools even package your content into a ZIP file for deployment onto SCORM-conformant Learning Management Systems.

If you are authoring courses in HTML/Javascript, Flash, or another non-WYSIWYG environment, you are out of luck. You will find yourself writing imsmanifest files and packaging content by hand - a very time consuming process...

Manifester is the quickest, most convenient tool available for automating the creation of imsmanifest files and deploying your content!

All in all, this application will enable eLearning developers to easily build imsmanifest files, as well as package SCORM 1.2 content.

Here is the entire process:

* Launch the Manifester application
* Optional: Enter an Organization Name, SCO Title, and any file extensions you want to be ignored. Manifester will not include these files in your imsmanifest file, nor include them in the SCO package that is produced.
* Using the file browser, select the Launch Page of your training course
* Manifester will display a formatted imsmanifest.xml file based on the contents of the folder/subfolders of the launch page you selected.
* You will then be given the option to save the imsmanifest.xml file and/or zip the files into a single SCO package.

Manifester has been developed using Adobe AIR, allowing it to work equally well in Windows, Linux, and MacOs.
