tinyMediaManager is a media management tool written in Java/Swing. It is written to provide metadata for the Kodi Media Center (formerly known as XBMC), MediaPortal and Plex media server. Due to the fact that it is written in Java, tinyMediaManager will run on Windows, Linux and macOS (and possible more OS).

tinyMediaManager offers you the possibility to group videos that are related into sets, so you can easily see all the movies that have a certain subject, that have the same actor, and so on.

For your convenience, tinyMediaManager can use the movie sets collections that are already predefined on the TheMovieDB.org website. At the same time, you can easily grab artwork or use local images to manually edit the sets’ artwork.

On the other hand, when scanning your videos collection, tinyMediaManager can recognize TV shows based on the files and folders structure. Likewise, you get to import metadata for the TV shows, or manually edit any metadata field.
