Webcamoid is an open-source application that aims to offer the best of both worlds, as it comes with an impressive array of features. However, it still needs some improvements, especially as far as the user interface is concerned. Webcamoid certainly offers plenty of useful features, but, from a visual standpoint, it is far from impressive. The interface layout is not very intuitive and, on the whole, the application looks rather outdated. Webcamoid allows you to add multiple devices, and you can then switch between them with a single mouse click. A wide range of encoding and visual parameters can be altered, such as the resolution, frame rate, brightness, contrast and exposure. Additionally, numerous interesting and funny visual effects can be applied to the captured content.
