CATraxx Audio Player is a separate program that will play audio files attached to your CATraxx database. While you can of course play audio files from within CATraxx, the audio player is a great alternative if you simply want to play music and do not need to edit data.

You can use this program without having CATraxx installed on the computer since it uses less resources and loads faster. It will also give better performance if the database is located on a network drive.

In addition, you can install the player on a PC where you do not need to use CATraxx to edit data (for example on a media center PC in your living room).
