ThreeDify Designer is a fast, compact, and powerful dual mode 3D modeling, 3D dimensioning and view mark-up application and ActiveX plugin.

ThreeDify Designer features an intuitive GUI, import/export plug-in architecture, (with free Import/Export plug-ins downloadable from our Download page), unlimited undo/redo, CAD and Indoor view modes, user-defined view clipping planes, associative 3D dimensions, robust Boolean operations on 3D meshes and 2D polygons, 2D profile generation from 3D models, polygon offset, local vertex/face editing, optimal solid reconstruction from parallel contours, extrusion by height or along a polyline path, conversion of 3D meshes into voxel models, 3D model healing capabilities, 2D mark-up tools, and an array of other powerful 3D object creation/editing tools. Version 3.1.0 supports 40+ 3D file formats and 30+ image formats.

ThreeDify Designer is a dual mode (both end user application and ActiveX control) 3D modeling, mark-up and visualization application. The entire application including its user interface can be embedded inside any ActiveX hosts such as Internet Explorer and Microsoft Office applications.

In control mode, ThreeDify Designer differentiates itself from other 3D CAD controls currently available on the market by its built-in rich GUI and breadth of functionality. All the functionality and GUI elements in the application mode are equally accessible in the control mode. As a result, no user programming is required to make full use of ThreeDify Designer Pro in the control mode, while on the other hand, power users can still script ThreeDify Designer Pro using its built-in automation interfaces for Visual Basic.

Another unique feature of ThreeDify Designer is its import/export plugin architecture using COM's Component Category technology that enables third party developers to independently develop their own ThreeDify Designer importers and exporters.

Last, but not the least, for users and developers who are often annoyed by large size ActiveX controls, ThreeDify Designer is written in ATL/WTL and is very compact in size, and unlike MFC or Java based plugins, is extremely fast to load. Most functionalities are packed in a DLL under 4MB.
